What We Consider When Selecting Products

We feature products from well-known brands that are readily available on Amazon and offer solid features for their intended purpose. It’s important to us that it’s clear for each recommendation who it’s suitable for – and who it isn’t. That’s why every product includes pros and cons, even if the cons speak against a purchase.

Where Our Information Comes From

Technical specifications such as battery life, performance, or dimensions come from the manufacturers’ specifications. Where standards or regulations exist, such as for power banks on airplanes, we explain them. We don’t conduct our own lab tests, and we don’t claim to. If we use a product ourselves, we explicitly state that: For example, we use the Brother QL-800 in our own warehouse for article labeling.

An Example: the Logitech MX Master 3S

For the Logitech MX Master 3S, we state what the manufacturer says it can do (up to 8,000 dpi, up to 70 days of battery life, three devices with the press of a button), and also what speaks against it: It’s rather heavy at around 141 g, and the successor MX Master 4 is already available. If a successor appears or the price changes significantly, we update the page.
