Pros

  • Strong adhesion, holds even with fluctuating warehouse temperatures
  • Tears off cleanly and straight, no fraying at the edges

Cons

  • A bit fiddly to handle without a hand dispenser
  • Adhesion noticeably drops in very cold storage rooms (below 5 °C)

Our assessment

Packing tape sounds mundane until you’ve shipped a box sealed with brittle cheap tape that pops open in transit. Since switching to this set, we haven’t had a single complaint about packages coming open.

The acrylic adhesive holds reliably on both double- and single-wall cardboard, even if a box sits in the unheated warehouse for a few days before going out. For daily use, we’d also recommend a simple hand-held tape dispenser (sold separately) — without one, this taut tape is a bit harder to apply cleanly.
