Headphones at the Packing Table: What's Actually Held Up in Our Warehouse Routine

Labeling, scanning stock, folding boxes — a lot of what happens at our packing table is repetitive and goes best when you can actually concentrate on it. At the same time, there’s a radio playing somewhere in the warehouse, the tape dispenser clatters, and every so often someone shouts across the room. Two different headphones have earned their place with us for two different situations.

That’s why we deliberately never run ANC at its strongest setting, and anywhere in the warehouse with vehicle traffic, we don’t use headphones with full noise cancelling at all.
